The 2013 HHH Charity Golf Tournament Raised $44,480 In Support of HHH Patients and Families!
It was a beautiful day on the links Monday, May 20, 2013, as 17 foursomes comprised of members of Nashville’s business and healthcare communities, as well as a number of celebrities, came together to raise $44,480 to benefit HHH of Nashville in the sixth, annual HHH Charity Golf Tournament hosted by Earl Swensson Associates, Inc.
This year’s event included a Nike Pro Shop, a Silent Auction, and surprise celebrity golfers including Olympic skater Scott Hamilton, Nashville Predator Mike Fisher, and WKRN anchor Neil Orne and others! Snack carts were generously stocked with a selection of beers provided by Ajax-Turner and a variety of Pepsi products courtesy of Pepsi Co.
A number of holes were set up for special competition. The Relay Golf hole had golfers running to get the ball from the tee to the cup in the least amount of time. Team ESa #2 completed the task in just twenty-one seconds and were rewarded with gift certificates to Watermark. There was also a Monster Drive and two holes-in-one competitions offering $20,000 cash prizes.
While no team won $20,000, winning teams included first place IC Thomasson, second place ESa #2 and third place VUMC #1. Josh Cartwright of IC Thomasson won the Longest Drive contest while Carl Hart won Closest-to-Pin. Congratulations to the winners!
Following play, Four Roses, Midtown Wine & Spirits and Horizon Wine & Spirits did a special bourbon tasting during the awards reception and the evening wrapped up with the announcement of team awards and individual prizes! A beautiful end to a beautiful day!
